is an ad hoc group of people who are looking for ways that we in the West can reach out the hand of friendship and extend the notion of "community" to the people of Bokonbaevo .
If you too would like to be a friend of the wonderful artisan women of Bokonbaevo and their families please consider one or more of these suggestions:

• Buy some of the products they make
• Have a rug produced specifically for you
• Make a donation toward the purchase of a carding machine or other equipment they desperately need ... perhaps your seasonal gift giving this year might go to Bokonbaevo? We have made up gift cards and a simple way to facilitate that.
• Spread the word about Altyn Oimok, Bokonbaevo and their work to other potential retail or wholesale buyers.
